The RB4836 is the ultimate abrasive media blast cabinet for blasting medium to large sized objects. The high quality siphon system blasting gun is one of the most efficient guns on the market, making the RB4836 second to none when it comes to performance. Visibility is maximized by utilizing 2 very bright 20 watt LED lamps in combination with the sturdy 100 CFM BP style dust collector. I’m now going to show you the Raptor Blasting Systems 4836 Blast Cabinet. It’s name is in reference to its size. It’s 48 inches wide by 36 inches deep by 36 inches tall. There are three major elements to a media blast cabinet.

The first is how well is it constructed? And is it going to leak media on the ground? The Raptor Blasting Systems 4836 is made of 12 gauge steel. It’s very thick steel. It’s all laser cut and hand welded. There are no riveted seams. There is nowhere that the media can get out of the blasting cabinet and leak onto the floor.

All of our media blast cabinets come with an adjustable latch system, which keeps the seal on the doors very tight. In addition, the doors on our larger cabinets, including this one, are double walled. It has an inner panel that is welded to the outer panel that has a half inch bend all the way around, which insures that this door will never warp.

The second element you should be assessing a blast cabinet by its functionality. How well is the media coming out of the nozzle? Is it going to blast and strip an object? We use a very efficient BNP style gun, which paired with a large pick up assembly, which makes for a very highly productive media blast cabinet.

The third component of a high-quality blast cabinet is visibility. How well can you see the objects inside the cabinet as you’re blasting? The RB4836 comes standard with a 100 CFM can style dust collector or you can upgrade to a hard shell cartridge 400 CFM dust collector. This in combination with two 20 watt LED lamps makes it very bright inside the cabinet and very clear. You can blast for long periods of time and your visibility will not diminish.

Finally, for those of you that enjoy a good looking piece of blasting equipment, all Raptor Blaster models are powder coated with a highly durable, very modern, dark gray hammer tone finish. Your Raptor Blaster cabinet will be a show piece in your shop for years to come.
