Product Description
The R-Series from Ingersoll Rand is the next generation in Rotary Screw Air Compressors. The reliable Ingersoll Rand R-Series 5-15 HP (4-11 kW) compressors extend the R-Series family into the commercial machine range. Combined with innovative features and a compact design, these fit virtually any application environment.
Compared to traditional piston air compressors, the R-series rotary screws compressors are more efficient, running at a cooler temperature, and quieter volume. These continuous duty units never have to cool down, making them ideal for rigorous job applications.
Here’s how the R-series are better than the traditional UP6 rotary screw series compressors:
- Vertically stacked unit means a smaller footprint
- Enclosed fan cooled motor comes standard
- An improved heavy duty motor designed to handle the harshest environments
- Higher CFM output
- The old pressure switch is now replaced by an electronic controller for easier programming
- Premium PTFE Hoses on all oil lines means reduced leakage
- Improved seals and few connection junctions
